Salary: $45,000 – $72,000

We hold a hard performance budget on every project and test on deliberately bad hardware. If that sounds like a constraint you would enjoy rather than tolerate, this is the role.

What you'll do

Build Next.js App Router applications with a strict performance budget
Own accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA on your projects
Work directly with designers on motion, interaction and design tokens
Set up and maintain the frontend testing and CI story
Mentor mid-level engineers through code review

What we're looking for

5+ years with React, at least 2 with Next.js App Router in production
Strong TypeScript — you use the type system rather than fighting it
Genuine performance skill: bundle analysis, Core Web Vitals, profiling
Accessibility as a working practice, not a checklist you have heard of
Can collaborate with designers without either side flinching

Nice to have

Server components and streaming SSR at scale
Design systems and token architecture
WebGL, Canvas or complex animation work
