Electron and Tauri for reach, native toolkits when the hardware demands it. Signed, notarised, auto-updating, and installable by someone who has never used a terminal.
Plenty of serious work never moved to the browser and never will: video pipelines, point-of-sale floors, lab instruments, CAD-adjacent tooling, anything that touches a serial port or needs the file system to behave like a file system.
We build that software properly — code-signed and notarised so it opens without a security warning, auto-updating so your users are not three versions behind, and packaged as an installer a non-technical operator can run. Offline by default, because the shop floor does not have Wi-Fi.

Electron or Tauri for a single build targeting macOS, Windows and Linux — with platform-correct menus, shortcuts and window behaviour on each.
Rust, C++ or .NET modules for the hot paths — video encoding, large-file parsing, device I/O — behind a UI that stays responsive.
Apple notarisation and Windows Authenticode so your installer opens without a scary warning and passes corporate deployment policy.
Delta updates with staged rollout and rollback, so a bad release reaches 5% of your users rather than all of them.
Serial, USB, Bluetooth, printers, scanners, scales and cameras — the long tail of devices real operations depend on.
Local database, background sync, and a UI that never blocks on the network. It works when the connection does not.

Let's talk
If yours is not here, ask it — we answer these in writing during discovery anyway.
Tauri when install size and memory matter — it ships around 10MB against Electron's 90MB and uses the system webview. Electron when you need a specific Chromium version, deep Node ecosystem access, or the widest library support. We pick in discovery based on what your app actually does, not on which is fashionable.
A 30-minute call, no deck. You describe the problem, we tell you honestly whether we are the right team for it — and what it would realistically cost.
