A desktop video review tool replacing a 12-year-old system for 200 editors across three studios.

Lumen's review pipeline ran on a Windows-only tool from 2012 that could not open 4K ProRes, crashed on projects over 40 minutes, and required editors to be on the studio LAN. Remote review meant exporting proxies and emailing links.
A Tauri application with a Rust core for decode and frame-accurate scrubbing, running on macOS, Windows and Linux from one codebase. Timeline-anchored annotations sync in the background, so a note left offline appears for everyone the moment the connection returns. Signed and notarised, deployed by IT through MDM.
Review turnaround dropped from 2.3 days to under 4 hours. The app opens 4K ProRes in 1.1s against the old tool's 47s, and 200 editors were migrated over six weeks with no rollback.
