Offline field-survey tooling for 3,100 agronomists working where there is no signal at all.

Terra's agronomists surveyed farms across regions with no cellular coverage. Data went onto paper forms, then into a spreadsheet a week later, by which point half the recommendations were stale.
An Android app built for a $120 handset: surveys, photos, GPS traces and soil readings captured entirely offline into a local store, then batch-synced when the device sees Wi-Fi. Conflict resolution is explicit, and a supervisor can see which surveys are still unsynced and on whose phone.
Survey-to-recommendation time fell from nine days to same-day. 3,100 agronomists submitted 400,000 surveys in year one with zero data loss.
